Greensponsability to nature is not only important , but a must. We are committed to the preservation of the environment and always push for sustainability of the rainforests and vegetation in general around the world. That is why , we became early members of the United State Green Building Council, the Forestry Steawardship Council as well, making sure that the products we use are traceable to a managed forest and that trees are planted to replace and outnumber the ones we use.
It is normal to think of a millwork company as part of the problem for the reduction of forest acreage, but we think the opposite. Being in the forefront of the problem we can advise our clients much better in the use of faster growing wood products and the alternatives in engineered composites. Our inhouse wood products, LEED accredited professionals can provide green certified alternatives to any project.
In real production , we closely manage distribution methods to have less miles for each delivered product and we use low emission and water based finishes that have low or no impact on the environment.
Above all, we love wood, and we know how long it takes for Mother Nature to create such beauty. Our business is bound to nature and we are proud of being part of the solution
